Beginning in 2026, the Ace University Apprentice Program will use a clearly defined Grading Policy and Accountability Policy to ensure apprentices are evaluated on both technical knowledge and professional conduct. Apprentice progress and advancement are based on a balanced approach that reflects how success is achieved in the field—through performance and accountability.
Final grades are calculated using two components: 80% academic performance, based on coursework completed in the Mike Holt Capacitor platform, and 20% accountability, measured through an instructor-assessed Accountability Rubric. The rubric evaluates four key areas: attendance, participation and engagement, communication, and technology readiness and compliance. Together, these expectations reinforce the importance of reliability, professionalism, and active participation in the learning process.
Apprentices must maintain a 70% overall average, meet attendance requirements, and adhere to all accountability standards to advance to the next level of the program. Full details, including grading breakdowns, advancement requirements, and accountability examples, are outlined in the 2026 Apprentice Student Handbook
