Required Material/Technology

All students are required to have the following technology to participate in and receive credit for online apprentice classes:

• Speakers and a microphone or a headset

• High-speed hard wired internet connection

• Microsoft Teams installed on your computer

PC Minimum Requirements for Apprentice Laptops

• 8th Generation i3 intel processor or higher

• 128gb of Hard Drive Space or higher

• 3gb of Free Hard Drive Space

• 4gb of RAM or higher

• USB 2.0 Video Camera

• 1024x768 Resolution or higher

Apple/Mac Requirements for Apprentice Laptops

• Core 2 Duo processor or higher

• 128gb of Hard Drive Space or higher

• 1.5gb of Free Hard Drive Space

• 4gb of RAM or higher

• Compatible Webcam

• 1280x800 Resolution or higher

• iPads should work but are unsupported

• Mobile Phones are not recommended

COMPLETE THESE TASK BEFORE THE EVENING OF THE FIRST CLASS

• Prior to the first class, make sure your computer will work with Microsoft Teams.

• Test Your microphone and speakers

• Find a quiet location to set up for class away from background noise and distractions
